Tour de Force is an Account-centric environment unlike most legacy contact management systems such as ACT! and Goldmine, which are primarily based around a contact-centric environment. Tour de Force is designed with the Account record as the primary record within the system to which all other records and items are linked.

Tour de Force was designed with the business-to-business sales company in mind. An Account within Tour de Force usually represents a relationship with another company with which your company does business.

Account Hierarchy

Accounts can be "parents" to virtually any item in the Tour de Force hierarchy. This fact allows you to link virtually unlimited information to an Account while the Account itself remains unchanged.

Account Packages contain the Accounts, Appointments, Contacts, Documents, Email, Expenses,Notes, Opportunities, Sales Activities, Support items, and the Tasks folders associated with an Account.


Number of Account Packages Needed Depends On:

Organizations typically create an Account Package for each sales territory or salesperson in the company.

  2. the degree of security required in the organization,

  3. the level of synchronization needed for offline or remote users,

  4. and the flexibility required for exporting and reporting data.
