Tour de Force has been designed to work on the Microsoft platform using Outlook and SQL Server.
One of the key design goals of Tour de Force is to increase business productivity. Since Tour de Force is easy to learn and easy to use, users spend less time on training and frustration, and more time focusing on customers and prospects.
By providing a straightforward navigation interface and a consistent look, once the user interface and navigation is learned, this knowledge can be applied throughout the application. The consistent look of the product also allows users to navigate in the system quickly in order to create and find information.
Users can create and view items such as email, tasks, appointments, notes, and letters using the Quick Events menu. Records such as Contacts and Opportunities can also be created using the Quick Events menu.
Tour de Force is not accessed like the other applications or software that you have utilize to perform your job. An icon does not reside on the Desktop, and Tour de Force is not an option that can be selected from the Start | Programs menu in Windows.
Tour de Force is only accessible through Microsoft Outlook. Once Microsoft Outlook starts, the Tour de Force toolbar loads. The Tour de Force menu also displays and is available on the Microsoft Outlook.

Appointment is an activity that has a specific day, time, and place and is scheduled with an account or contact. Often considered a calendar item.

An Activity within Tour de Force is a result of a task that is completed, or a result of an appointment that was scheduled and completed.
